ProofAudit.

Web accessibility · audits with evidence

The accessibility audit that shows its work.

A letter names your website. Scanners can't see two-thirds of the problem[1], and widgets made defendants of 983 of their own customers[2]. We prove what's actually broken — screenshot, method, timestamp — and your developer fixes straight from the list.

Up to three verified issues from your homepage, screenshots included, within two business days. If we can't verify anything, we say exactly that.

The trend that brought you here

The lawsuits keep climbing — and the letters land on small businesses.

Filings are concentrated in New York, Florida, California, and Illinois, and hit restaurants and online shops hardest. A small group of law firms sends these at scale — it's a system, not bad luck, and it isn't slowing down.

When a demand letter names your website, you need two things fast: proof of exactly what's broken, and a fix path your developer can run. That's the whole reason ProofAudit exists.

Watch a scanner miss it.

A real component from our test site. Valid HTML, labeled buttons — a scanner finds nothing wrong. Then someone presses Tab.

SCANNER RESULT — 0 issues · markup parses · buttons have names · contrast passes · nothing to report

Every automated tool gives this component a clean bill. The markup is technically fine.

The deliverable, not a description of it.

An excerpt in the exact format you receive — Excel issue log, PDF summary, drafted accessibility statement. Sample data from our deliberately-broken test site.

FOUNDING CLIENTS — 3 slots

Honest version of "limited availability": we're new, and we'd rather earn testimonials than claim them. The first three clients get 50% off any audit in exchange for a detailed, named testimonial after remediation. When they're gone, this section disappears.

Who's behind this

ProofAudit is an independent audit practice. Every engagement runs through our verification pipeline, then a human screen-reader review — nothing is marked expert-reviewed until a person has actually reviewed it. And a rule we apply to ourselves before anyone else: no badges we haven't earned. Credentials appear on this page when exams are passed, not before. The same goes for testimonials — only real ones, named, with permission.
